The 2nd wave of the successful Bootcamp Programme was launched today to support young business owners aged 16-35 in the local area.

The Business Bootcamp Growth Programme is being run by Full Circle Management Solutions, and its aim is to help young business owners to develop their sales, get new customers, and plan for growth.

Deirdre Fitzpatrick, Programme Manager, explained: “The Business Bootcamp programme is a carefully designed programme which offers young business owners the opportunity to get focused help to grow their business.  We provide monthly workshops, one-to-one mentoring, best practice visits, and an opportunity to meet buyers. The programme supports business owners to look at the way forward and develop a credible business plan, which they can use to guide the business and to approach lenders”.

In this difficult economic climate, young business owners can benefit from external help and support, and the opportunity to meet other business owners, and develop their networks.

The Programme has been funded through the European Regional Development Fund under the INTERREG IVA Structural Funds.  This means we can offer young people a place free of charge.

Deirdre Fitzpatrick told us “we are very excited about running this programme. When we work with young business owners, we know we can help them grow their businesses, help them develop their customer base, and enter new markets.  It can make a huge difference to the success of the business.  The help they receive with their business plan also means they finish the programme with a useful tool to keep them focused”

Cllr Jenny Palmer, Chair of the COMET INTERREG Partnership, said “We are delighted to have secured funding for the project and to be promoting this programme, as it is focused on young people.  It recognises their contribution to the economy, and our belief in their abilities.”

Business owners aged 16-35 wishing to join the programme should contact Patricia Owens at Full Circle Management Solutions on 02890691027 or
